The answer was very very simple, my friends.
That’s right.I just wrapped it around my neck a few times and had a soft & lovely infinity scarf…with exactly zero effort!
I do so love a no-waste refashion, don’t you?
I wore my new scarf to Gallery 80808 after work to watch Tibetan monks work on a sand mandala for the 20th anniversary of .
It was beautiful and sad to watch them work. They spent days working on this intricate work of art, only to destroy it. The lack of permanence is part of what gives Mandalas their beauty, but this same disposability hit a little close to home for me. I wouldn’t have been able to have thrown something so precious away.
All that deep thinking lead us to Motor Supply for a delicious honeycrisp cocktail by barman, Josh Streetman.
