Remember when I dyed that white skirt coral on Day 10? Well…that skirt wasn’t alone! I hated the idea of using a whole packet of dye on just one lil skirt, so I threw this T-shirt in as well:
You’re looking at a sadly pit-stained JCrew Tissue Tee. I would’ve just turned it into a bag with those other tees from Day 11, but I didn’t think it would hold up very well, being all tissuey and all.
I was hoping the dye would cover those pits, and I’d just be able to wear the T as-is. Sadly, that didn’t quite work out. :/
As I didn’t feel like walking around looking as though I was constantly sweating (because I do that enough already, thank ya!), I got out the scissors and began to chop…and chop…and chop.
This is what I came up with:
I used a skinny scrap of the cut-offs to gather my tank in the back.
It ain’t fancy, but I really do like it. My tank was perfect for a casual evening in. I could also see me wearing this over my bikini at the beach or at the gym. :)
I’ve been uber-inspired by foodie blogs lately! I love to cook, and have recently discovered written by this lady in Spain who spends her time making her own ginger beer (which I’m gonna try this weekend), roasted goat legs, and all sorts of other fabulous yummy stuff. She left a comment on my blog, and I’ve been following her ever since. :) I imagine her to be like the Barefoot Contessa, with a rich husband, and a life spent making wonderful things/ entertaining….only possibly cooler because she’s in flippin’ Spain (where I dream of going someday)! *Sigh*
I decided to spend some time in my kitchen making some tasty Eggplant Parmesan for me and the fella. T’was delish!
The Pinot Grigio wasn’t so bad, either. ;)
